Position Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Superintendent to oversee all on‑site operations for major commercial construction projects. This individual will play a critical leadership role, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

The ideal candidate is an expert communicator, a proactive problem solver, and a proven leader with deep experience managing complex commercial builds.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all on‑site construction activities from pre‑construction through project closeout
• Manage and coordinate subcontractors, field staff, and daily site operations
• Enforce and promote strict safety standards and compliance with company and OSHA requirements
• Develop, maintain, and execute the project schedule with the Project Manager
• Conduct daily and weekly site meetings, documentation, and reporting
• Ensure high‑quality workmanship and adherence to project plans, specifications, and building codes
• Identify and resolve field issues promptly to keep projects on track
• Foster positive relationships with clients, architects, engineers, inspectors, and trade partners
• Monitor resource allocation, site logistics, and productivity to maximize efficiency
• Mentor and support junior superintendents and field team members

Qualifications

• Minimum 20 years of hands‑on experience supervising commercial construction projects
• Proven track record delivering successful ground‑up, renovation, and/or tenant improvement projects
• Extensive knowledge of commercial construction methods, codes, and safety regulations
• Strong leadership, communication, and team‑building skills
• Proficiency in project scheduling and construction technology platforms (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project)
• Ability to read and interpret plans, specs, contracts, and technical documents
• Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure
